As the outside air temperature increases so does the demand for energy from the air conditioning unit. B-Cool test our air conditioner units above 100F to determine maximum power consumption.
Power consumption will be stated as followes: 12V @ 50/75 Amps
In this example this unit will consume up to 75amps when the outside temperature is over 100F. However, when the outside temperature decreases so will the demand for energy.
PLEASE REMEMBER: When designing your battery bank size energy consumption will fluctuate based on ambient temperature.

Your new B-Cool 12V/24V air conditioner can comes with its own install manual and the videos are linked under each product on the home page. Simply connect the positive and negative leads to any corresponding power source. Its that easy.

Our products are used in Jeep Wranglers, Land Cruisers, Range Rovers, Ford Transit, Dodge ProMaster, Cheverolet Express, and Mercedes Sprinters vans, cut-away chassis, Class A RV, Class B RV, class C RVs, even boats. We also have an air conditioning unit for semi trucks. Basically if you can drive it we can cool it.

When determining your cooling requirements, the following should be considered:
 
Size of RV.
Window area (increases heat gain).
Amount of insulation in walls and roof.
Geographical location where the RV will be used.
Personal comfort level required.
 
For one unit installation:
The unit should be mounted slightly forward of center (front to back) and centered from side to side.
 
For two unit installations:
Install one unit 1/3 and one unit 2/3’s from front of RV and centered from side to side.
